NC Children and Nature Coalition (NCCAN!) was formed as a response to the alarming disconnect between today’s children and the natural environment. NCCAN!’s goals are simple, get children and their families to explore, embrace and spend more time outdoors. This encourages the education, mental and physical well-being of all people, especially children, strengthens families, and and provides long-term benefits for our society and the natural world.
