Volunteer Opportunities
NCCAN! needs volunteers to help us spread the message We will provide necessary materials and support to volunteers.
Areas of Volunteer Opportunities:
Volunteer Coordinator: Assist NCCAN! leadership in coordinating volunteer program.
Special Event NCCAN! promoters: Attend special community events and conferences throughout the state (assigned by region or if you might already be going) to sit at an NCCA! Table with promotional materials and speak to the work of the Coalition. Opportunities will be sent out to volunteers with details and volunteers will be asked to sign up as they are available.
Speaker’s Bureau: Volunteers with expertise in issues related to children and nature are needed to make presentations in various venues. Volunteers will speak in heir area of expertise and will also promote building partnership in NCCAN!
Social Media: We need volunteers who are savvy in the Social media world to gather information and links that can be used for our FaceBook and Twitter presence.
Outreach Volunteers: Volunteers will recruit potential partners for NCCAN! through email and phone outreach. Materials and some leads will be provided.
